‘This idyllic pic was taken by my husband just a few minutes earlier. He thought it was cute how little our daughter looked next to me.’She continued: ‘As luck would have it that happened at the exact moment the cycle lane stopped to make way for a road coming out of an estate, which happened to have a white van hurtling along, accelerating towards Poppy.’Webster said that what happened next was a ‘blur’, adding: ‘but also happened in slow motion.
But, fortunately, the broadcaster explained her ‘quick-thinking husband saved her life’ and jumped in front of the van.She added: ‘From behind us he jumped off his bike and launched himself in front of the van pushing Poppy away.
