Great Britain star Josh Kerr knew he was going to cause a shock at the World Championships and claim 1500m gold.Adam Gemili, who has since revealed his teammate's prediction on the bus to the National Athletics Centre in Budapest on Wednesday.Kerr stunned hot favourite Jakob Ingebrigtsen after an intense battle over the last 300m to top the podium in Hungary.
Olympic gold medallist Ingebrigtsen was outkicked by Kerr as the Scot finished in a season-best 3:29.38. British sprinter Gemili took to Twitter after the race and disclosed an eerie prophecy from Kerr before his stunning triumph. Gemili said: "Josh said to me on the bus that if he’s with Ingebrigtsen with 200m to go he’s gonna win the title. He’s just become the World Champion, what an absolute beast. Josh Kerr take a bow!!!"
