Boxing star Gervonta Davis arrested and jailed over alleged domestic violence incident
Gervonta Davis has been arrested and jailed overnight, charged in an alleged domestic violence incident.

The court case relating to that incident dragged on for nearly three years before the prosecution abandoned the charges earlier this month on December 13. It is unclear if the woman from this fresh incident for which Gervonta has now been arrested is the same woman as from the previous charges.AdvertisementThe boxer is reportedly due to appear before a judge for a first appearance hearing later in the day, at which time the charges will be formally introduced along with bond recommendations.In less than two weeks, Gervonta is due to face Hector Luis Garcia.
Providing he were to win, his plan is to then move forward with a huge fight against Ryan Garcia, which has been agreed for April.
