In addition to happy-making knits, Gigi’s brand stocks hardworking staples in understated shades of grey and brown. Her favourite is the Everywear cardigan, which she has in the versatile Almond shade. As Gigi has demonstrated on several occasions, the Everywear cardigan can be worn any which way: wrapped around the shoulders, with a crop top and jeans, or layered beneath a jacket.
The core pieces in Gigi’s collection are inspired by her parents’ cashmere knits, which the model packed to take with her when she moved from sunny Los Angeles to New York nearly 10 years ago. “Those were the only cashmere pieces I owned for a long time,”
