BREAKING: An 11-year-old girl has been killed and her father has been seriously injured following an incident in France.
An 11-year-old girl has been killed and her father has been seriously injured following an incident inThe girl is said to have been shot dead while playing in her family’s garden in the village of Saint-Herbot in Brittany,The girl’s mother was less seriously hurt in the attack and her eight-year-old sister escaped without injury.The suspect, who has been reported to be a Dutch national who lived in the same village, and his wife have been arrested.
A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: ‘We are providing consular assistance to a British family following a shooting in France and are in contact with the local authorities.’
