Metropolitan Police officers were likely to have been influenced by racism when they strip-searched a 15-year-old black schoolgirl who was menstruating, a report has said
The force apologised after the secondary school pupil, who was wrongly suspected of carrying cannabis, was searched without another adult present, in a breach of the rules.
