The delighted team behind a popular Glasgow cafe has thanked customers after scooping a double win at the Scottish Bakery of the Year Awards.Based on Hyndland Street, in Partick, the cafe specialises in plant-based biscuits, bakes and dishes.Their raspberry and lemon empire biscuit won the Bronze biscuit in central Scotland accolade with the team also winning the customer choice finalist award.
It's not the first time Plant Blonde have been recognised as it was previously picked out by Stag Web in its 30 Best Vegan Takeaways in the UK for 2023. Talking about their most recent win, the team wrote on Instagram: "Plant Blonde is now an AWARD WINING BAKERY."Thank you to all of YOU as this wouldn’t happen without you guys! We are so extremely grateful and full of love and happiness."Well done to all the fantastic bakers last night yous are fabulous."One person said: "So deserved. Congratulations to you all."A third added: "Congratulations! Well deserved awards for the best bakery in Partick.
