A new event is coming to Glasgow that is set to combine two eras of incredible music with the 'I Wanna Cry with Somebody' 80s vs Emo Night at the Classic Grand.
A night combining emo anthems and 80s Power Ballads is coming to Glasgow next month. The 'I Wanna Cry with Somebody' 80s vs Emo Night will take over the Classic Grand on Jamaica Street on Friday, October 20 and run from 11 pm until 3 am.
Posting about the fun night on the official Facebook page, the team at Throwback Events said: "We were born in the 80s & grew up in the 2000s, so we want to celebrate 2 of our favourite eras in 1 emotional night of sing-a-long classics! I Wanna Cry With Somebody will celebrate the hits of the 80s, classic Power Ballads and Emo Anthems."
They added that music fans can expect to hear the likes of Whitney Houston, My Chemical Romance, Cyndi Lauper, Paramore, Fall Out Boy and Madonna.
