James and Vicky, who live in Merrylee, are also parents to seven-year-old Ben."My mum was always keen to raise money for Maggie's which we did do, but with the Great Scottish Run, we have chosen Cancer Research.
"At one point I was tempted to up it to the half marathon, but I broke my toe in June after kicking a sun lounger on holiday, so that wiped out training for two months. I'm sure we'll be okay plus some family and friends will be at the finish line." "Total strangers have been donating after reading our story, and the amounts people are donating is amazing, we're so thankful."
