William Paton's campaign against the Glasgow's Low Emission Zone has been given a substantial financial boost through an anonymous donation of £100,000.
An anonymous donor has pledged £100,000 to a Glasgow garage boss' legal campaign against the Low Emission Zone.
The report by the Hilson Moran Institute found that air quality levels are now compliant with objectives set out by Air Quality Scotland. William, company director Patons Accident Repair Centre in Townhead, began fundraising to help cover the costs of bringing his case in front of a judge.Other donations have been made by the Scottish Private Hire Association who said: "Glasgow's hospitality sector is in crisis and being crippled. The low emission zone plays a part in this.
