The city centre store closed for six weeks for a big refurbishment. The store is set to open its doors once again this weekend, with plenty in store for shoppers to enjoy.
Glasgow's HMV Argyle Street is reopening after six weeks following a huge refurbishment - and staff are celebrating in style.
HMV Live and Local takes place over September 23 and 24. Homegrown talent make up the bill including Nick Shane, The Laurettes, Emilie Leslie, Crash, Serena Sophia, The Too Late, Roisin McCartney and Hushy. Photographs shared on the shop's official Instagram account show an almost unrecognisable HMV Glasgow. Ripped out ceilings and empty shelves were seen against walls with most of their beloved posters removed.
