A Glasgow protester is among those who have thrown chocolate cake over a waxwork statue of King Charles at London’s Madame Tussauds museum in their latest demonstration.
Eilidh McFadden, 20, from Glasgow and Tom Johnson, 29, from Sunderland, chucked the dessert in the King’s face in an effort to show their “simple” demand.It comes weeks ahead of COP27, where King Charles is no longer expected to give a speech on the advice of former prime minister Liz Truss.
