Mehmet Sunna has spoken of the moment found his hometown Pazarcik reduced to rubble
A Glasgow businessman visiting his home in Turkey has shared a heartbreaking video highlighting the devastation caused by the earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people.
"I drove through the streets of my childhood and it was like a ghost town. In the morning I was shocked, the houses were all rubble and you could feel the sadness, you can feel everyone suffering. He said: "Every person is telling me their own story but it is hard to believe what they are explaining to you. My family's neighbour ran out of the building and saw a five or six floor building just fall in front of her eyes. She said she was in shock watching the building turn to rubble.
A lack of basic amenities and items has led to illness sweeping through camps and the worried son hopes his family's story, as well as the many others being told by those in tents across the country, can continue to raise awareness of the horrors that thousands are facing in Turkey.
