'It has always been my worst fear.'

A mum is devastated after her business of five years lies on the side of a street in Thornliebank as a shell of its former self after a van smashed into it at high speed.

She immediately contacted Police Scotland and was told a van smashed into it in the early hours of the morning. The business had been closed since the beginning of the year as Tina, 34, from Pollok, struggled to keep her head above the water due to various issues including the cost of living crisis. "I was toying with the idea of what to do next because it has been a struggle. I did it completely by myself and it has been tough.

"I’ve worked so hard on that business and it’s been destroyed in seconds. It hasn’t sunk in yet. I don’t know what I am going to do.
