Glasgow petition calls for safe outdoor swimming area 'in or near River Clyde'.
A petition has been launched calling for the introduction of a safe outdoor swimming area in Glasgow.
The petition has been started by River Clyde Environment Group, who organise litter picks along the Clyde and help report activities such as wildlife sightings and suspected pollution incidents, particularly in and around Glasgow city centre.They are calling for the support of both Glasgow City Council and The Scottish Government for a safe wild swimming area - they have dubbed the 'River Clydo' - "in or near the River Clyde for Glaswegians and visitors alike".
