Police have issued advice for both pedestrians and motorists.
Police in Glasgow have issued advice to motorists and pedestrians after multiple serious crashes in the last few weeks.
The force has now advised pedestrians to wear reflective or fluorescent clothing in the winter months to ensure they are as visible as possible, as well as urging people to be aware of their surroundings. Chief Inspector Lorraine Napier, West Area Commander of Road Policing said: “Every collision which results in a death or serious injury involves a unique set of circumstances and our specialist road policing officers investigate each individually to establish the full circumstances.We are keen to encourage all road users to be aware of potential risks in order to keep everyone safe.
