The council generated 7000 pothole reports in Glasgow in two months
bosses have allocated £12 million to help road surfaces recover from a very damaging winter.
The £6m boost will be used for repairs, resurfacing and surface dressing which help to eliminate cracks in the road surface that are vulnerable to the impact of the weather and traffic. Councillor Ruairi Kelly, the city convener for neighbourhood services, believes allocating extra funding to road maintenance is the correct approach.
