The schoolboy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children after he was struck. His condition is currently unknown.A Police Scotland statement read: "Balmore Road is closed between Skirsa Street and Ashgill Road following a crash which happened around 5.55pm."Enquiries are ongoing.
