A Glasgow theatre performance was halted after two women erupted into a row.
A GLASGOW theatre performance was halted after members of the audience erupted into a"raucous" row.
One theatre-goer says that the commotion was so loud, it could be heard over the play which resulted in the actors stopping and leaving the stage.:"These two women started shouting at each other with expletives, very loudly. Everyone heard them over the actual show."It was right at the back of the stalls and after a few minutes, everyone had turned and were watching that instead of the play which isn’t great.
The theatre-goer admitted that despite the swift resolution, the incident left him and others"shaken". "We didn’t know how it would pan out, if we got something thrown at us then we would get sucked into it. We were shaken by it and taken aback."It’s one of those things that puts you off a bit because if you are not safe in a matinee then when is it going to be okay? You spend a lot of money as well.
