A popular Glasgow Malaysian eatery in the southside has made a starring appearance in a new BBC TV show delighting viewers.
The pair then set out to play "matchmaker" by finding some incredible suppliers from around the west of Scotland to help supply the top Glaswegian chef with some incredible ingredients. "These are two of the biggest names I’ve worked with to date and they were the most down-to-earth, kind, humble, supportive souls. The whole week was a pleasure."In the episode, Julie treated the pair to delicious dumplings made using locally foraged mushrooms and one of her specialities, her Singapore Chilli Crab.
Finally, they made their way down the road to meet the team behind the innovative Blackthorn Salt Company.One fan said: "Brilliant programme Julie's Kopitiam. You are a natural in front of the camera and that food, wow, looked amazing."
