'I got particularly upset and I had to get out of my car and ask people to move back.'
A woman struggling to visit her dying father at Christmas was shouted at by angry drivers on her own street, as she revealed residents are facing daily incidents of road rage and crippling congestion.
“It was complete gridlock in the street to the point I couldn’t move my car forward or backwards. I got particularly upset and I had to get out of my car and ask people to move back. There were eight cars behind me. I had to go back to the eighth car and ask them to move. They got very angry and someone else was shouting.
“We have an incident where one of our neighbours was knocked off his cycle on the street and we now have a situation where the majority of neighbours, if they do want to cycle, will put their bike on a rack and drive to an area where they can cycle which just seems bizarre."
