The decision didn't go down well with some people
Good Morning Britain fans expressed their displeasure on Monday morning as Good Morning Britain was pulled from ITV's schedule. It made way for coverage of the Women's World Cup match between Italy and Argentina.
@TallAndFirey fumed: “Literally how many channels could you shunt the football onto? Who the hell wants to watch half of an Italian football match before work? This is ridiculous nonsense.” @ShirleyL60 commented: “Seriously, football this time of the morning! I could understand if England was playing. News obviously isn't important.”
It looks as though Good Morning Britain will return back to screens on Thursday morning as the World Cup coverage is set to continue throughout the week. However, this isn’t the only show that’s been impacted as both Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women have all been pulled from their usual ITV slot.
