Epic return from Gogglebox ’s Baggs family after claims they were ‘axed’ from show
The Baggs family are back on Channel 4’s Gogglebox in the new series after it was claimed they were “axed” by the show back in March, which mum Lisa denied.
One wrote: “Oh my god the Baggs family!!!! Never been so happy to see them again after being obsessed with them on Tik Tok!”Another penned: “Joe and George Baggs and the family finally back on goggle box i am so happy.” Speculation surrounded why the family didn’t appear in the last series of the show but mum Lisa denied claims the family had been axed from the show and said it was down to the pandemic why they didn’t take part.
She set the record straight and wrote: “I can categorically confirm this is a total LIE! Due to Covid restrictions we are unable to film this current series.”The Baggs family's eldest son, Joe also spoke on social media adding that producers had reassured them all new families get criticised online in their first series."Due to the lockdown there aren't enough cameras to go around to the entire cast, and therefore we decided as a family to take a series off.
