More rain is on the way
Greater Manchester has been battered by wind and rain today – with Stockport even seeing hailstorms this afternoon.
Tomorrow, more winds are expected and showers are possible in the morning. There will be sunnier periods in between the rain but the temperature will still feel on the cool side, reaching a maximum of 14C. Heavy rain will arrive overnight before easing into Monday morning .Looking to Tuesday and Wednesday, we can expect sunny and dry weather across the region with possible frost and fog overnight. Temperatures are expected to reach 13C on Wednesday.
Low pressure systems dominated the outlook with most rain falling on Saturday before a brighter and warmer Sunday - but it will only be a brief respite.
