He says he will be “focusing on critical issues of the climate, nature and biodiversity crises”, adding: “The Tories and Labour are locked in a race to the bottom on the climate, competing to come up with the most destructive, planet-wrecking policies possible.” Cameron, 20, grew up and went to school in Hamilton and East Kilbride and is now in his final year studying social and public policy at Glasgow University.
Ms Slater said: “We are at a crossroads where cynical politics of the past are being replaced by a new, positive vision of what the world should be – and we are so lucky to have Cameron championing that shift.
