It’s taken from a completely innocuous tweet about a new in-game T-shirt, created to commemorate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The two characters are standing in front of the Vinewood sign – GTA’s version of the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles – and because of the angle it looks like the Roman numeral VI .
And… that’s it. That’s as good as the evidence has got so far and yet to say it’s a bit of a stretch is a major understatement.
