The Spaniards brought their A-game to the stands with plenty of “Olé Olé” and “Espanol, Espanol” chants resonating across the ground. The team in the dugout acknowledged their efforts along with Queen Letizia of Spain, who was watching on from the VIP area. “The girls have done us so proud. They were so tough and fought to the very end. Not disappointed,” she said. “I think they’re better than the men’s team.”
