How long will Sam put up with this?
work in Emmerdale has far-reaching consequences for her whole family when she reconnects with an old friend.for more hours but when Kim says it’s not possible Lydia decides to go to the Hide recruitment fair in search of a second job.
She’s completely shaken when she bumps into Craig , someone she hasn’t seen since the days when she lived in a children’s home. Craig seems delighted to have met her again and he offers her a job. As the pair of them catch up it’s obvious that they have a strong connection and get on really well. Craig has done well for himself since leaving the children’s home and Samson is impressed by his car when he drops Lydia back home.
Sam , on the other hand, is left feeling insecure as Samson questions Lydia about Craig’s wealth, knowing he’s no match for the successful businessman. Samson is impressed that Craig’s company made one of his favourite video games and he asks Lydia to get him some work experience with Craig’s company. Craig agrees to this and Samson’s delighted, feeling absolutely awe-struck when he finally meets Craig in person.It’s not long before Craig has his feet under the table at the Dingles’ and is making himself at home. Sam isn’t happy about the situation: with his wife and his son making a huge fuss of the newcomer he feels pushed out.
