Together the pair cooked up a charming list of icebreaker questions for their guests, the likes of Jodie Comer, Aerin Lauder and Gucci Westman.
To curate the menu, Paltrow and Saltzman enlisted the help of Mattia Agazzi, the chef responsible for Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura, the popular Michelin-starred eatery in Beverly Hills. “Italy in Amagansett” was how he described the fare, which included a delicious artichoke salad, baked cod, and a zesty strawberry and lemon Italian ice dessert.
Before the evening came to a close, Paltrow gave a special mention to her mother Blythe Danner, perhaps the unofficial guest of honour. “Thank you so much, Mom, for letting us walk through your lawn!”
