Hairy Bikers spotted in Lancashire!
BBC chefs the Hairy Bikers stopped in at The Hayfield in Ormskirk yesterday for a spot of lunch. Posing for a picture outside the pub with the owner, Si King and Dave Myers looked in good spirits.
. The 65-year-old has not revealed the type of cancer he has but has given regular updates on how his health is.In the picture, Dave, who is originally from Barrow, looked in good health. His hair looked to be growing back and he looked to have put some weight back on. Dave said at times during his treatment he has been too ill to walk, unable to ride his motorcycle due to being unsteady and his hair fell out, along with his eyelashes. But he added his “hair’s better than it was before chemo”, and he has begun travelling again.
Posting on Instagram, The Hayfield said: "Yesterday at The Hayfield we couldn’t believe our eyes when the @hairybikers stopped in for a bite to eat! They where absolutely lovely gents and it was a pleasure to serve and look after them during their visit.
