Hollywood star Harrison Ford spotted on Tyneside while taking a break from filming the latest Indiana Jones movie
North Shields-born musician Sam Fender tweeted his surprise upon hearing the Star Wars actor was in his home town."Han Solo was on the Fish Quay man. Shields is the one."Ford, seen here in 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark, is reprising his role as Indiana Jones
The Disney-produced film also stars Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Thomas Kretschmann, with partsDanish actor Mikkelsen, known for his villainous roles in James Bond's Casino Royale and TV's Hannibal, was also pictured in Newcastle."I told him I am deaf and I am a huge fan of his work," said Mr Makepeace, who used sign language to communicate with the star.
