'He was the reason I am the man I am today'
A ‘kind, amazing’ security guard from Sale has died following a car crash abroad. Benjamin Alokata was visiting his mum and sister in Malawi, Africa, when tragedy struck.
Paying tribute, his brother Victor Alokata said: “As the older brother, it hurt so much to hear that he passed away. I was meant to be in Malawi with him but I had to work. “Our father passed away when we were young so we did not have a male role model in the house. I’m sure our father would be proud of the men we became and it’s because of Benjamin.
Friends have also paid tribute to the dad, describing him as ‘someone who puts 110% into everything'.
