The weather really hasn't been able to make its mind up in recent weeks. From hot sunny days to thunder and lightning without a moments hesitation.
Just after 3pm the heavens seemed to open sending people in Manchester ducking for cover. The one potential positive of this being that this coming week is set to be much cooler, while plenty of sun will still shine, making sleeping at night that bit easier.Travel warnings were quickly issued as surface water began building up on the road network with videos captured from the city centre showing trams having to wade through rain into St Peter's Square.
The weather warning covering Greater Manchester is set to remain in place until 9pm tonight with temperatures set to drop to a low of 15oC. Monday is predicted to be dry but with temperatures set to only reach highs of 20oC, much lower than the high 20s we have had in recent weeks.
