It is highly doubtful the figure goes anywhere near covering the amount our What's On Editor consumed while covering Leeds Festival 2023...
So, firstly let me start this by saying clearly I don’t have a medical degree but I had a little thought wandering around Bramham Park for Leeds Festival 2023 - could you earn a guilt-free pint?
Clearly, it was my choice to consume alcohol or not and we should all drink responsibly and it felt intriguing to see if you could, at the very least, earn yourself some guilt-free pints. I hope my working out is right here, with my B in maths GCSE, but the NHS states there’s on average 240 calories in a five per cent pint of beer.
I’d argue 70-odd thousand steps is decent going but I can’t really workout if 12 pints is an appropriate reward. Maybe, I’m just saying this as I know just how many I consumed...although I couldn't possibly provide a number. Additionally, this year for the feature, including the Monday steps, working off what I’ve supped, is a telling addition.
