A brand new underground clothes store has opened with a unique theme
A brand new underground clothes store has opened in Radford and it has a unique theme. Located on Hartley Road, stairs lead down to the Boutique Garden which opened in September.
The idea for the basement space came to Iwona after she was inspired during lockdown to open boutique. So far the store has taken off and is doing well online with orders on the website, however due to it being ‘hidden’ not many customers are aware of the new store.The 47-year-old from Nottingham said: “Not many people know about this place, it’s underground and hidden. It was empty for a long time, I was helping to do everything, all the jobs here by myself.
“We don’t order the same clothing, we try to be unique and have different clothes. I would say it’s unique, like I said, not having the same items, having different designs, even from the colours, we have a huge range.”Iwona told Nottinghamshire Live the idea for the boutique came from watching shopping livestreams on social media during the pandemic. She was then inspired by her flower décor at home to have the garden floral theme.
