Crowders Nurseries joins RSK Group! Together, they're growing towards a sustainable future. 🌳
RSK, a leading provider of sustainable solutions, has announced its acquisition of Crowders Nurseries, a family-owned wholesale nursery business with a history spanning over seven generations.
Crowders Nurseries, with its roots in Lincolnshire's Horncastle and Woodhall Spa, has been a prominent player in the cultivation of plants for over two centuries. The company offers wholesale solutions to a diverse range of clients, including government organisations, local authorities, landscape architects, and construction firms across the UK, the Channel Islands, Ireland, and Europe.
Robert Crowder, the Chief Executive of Crowders, will continue to spearhead the business. He expressed his optimism about the acquisition, stating,"RSK's approach came at an opportune moment when we were seeking continuity for our 225-year-old family business. RSK's services in the environmental sector align well with ours, and their commitment to sustainability reflects our own values. We anticipate the benefits of being part of a larger family of companies.
RSK operates across various sectors of the economy, particularly those with significant environmental responsibilities. Alan Ryder, RSK Group's Chief Executive Officer, praised Crowders' exceptional skills and experience, stating,"Crowders' ability to supply everything from small seedlings to semi-mature trees will support our efforts in the environmental and infrastructure sectors.
Crowders Nurseries has already secured several contracts for the next four years, promising a bright future under the new ownership.
