The first floor has a large function room and private accommodation with three bedrooms.The Grapes was highly regarded for its food before its closure along with its location near to the River Yarrow and its 15th century bridge.

A picture postcard village, with historic homes & cottages, a church that dates back to William the Conqueror and a cobbled packhorse bridge, erected in the 15th century, which crosses the River Yarrow. "The premises are situated in a prominent position facing the A581, a busy road that runs Rufford and Chorley. The property is located approximately five miles west of Chorley and eight miles east of Southport."
