Considering the focus the wider Harry Potter universe puts on Gryffindor, it's quite a surprise to see Slytherin take the cup for the most popular Hogwarts house. Perhaps the Sorting Hat has a bias towards Slytherin? Perhaps players don't want to play as a goody-two-shoes Gryffindor and want to live out the fantasy of being a dastardly witch or wizard for Team Green.
