People heading to European countries including Spain and Greece have been issued with a warning before they book or travel due to new rule changes soon coming into force.
Holidaymakers heading to Spain, Greece and other European countries have been issued a 30-day warning amid a strict new entry rule with people being warned to prepare before they jet off.
The European Union's new travel permit will usually be approved in minutes, officials said, but there will be cases where it takes far longer. Officials have warned that in some cases it will take another 30 days to get a permit and for this reason, Brits should not book hotels, flights or package deals until they have first obtained approval to travel.

The EU added: "You can apply for an ETIAS travel authorisation yourself by filling in and submitting an application, or you can authorise somebody else to do this for you, e.g. a friend, a family member or a commercial intermediary such as a travel agency. You will need to have a valid travel document and pay a EUR 7 application fee.
