Don't get caught out

However, little-known rules can turn what was a cheap holiday into something more expensive as local authorities hand out fines of up to £1,000.

The TikTok user said that using soap or shampoo at public beach showers could see you fined £558, while drinking on the sand carries a fine of £650. Although building sandcastles can be fun, in Benidorm you could be fined £130. Meanwhile, a six drink limit is in place across resorts like Ibiza, Palma and more.
