The Trail Blazers could have traded Damian Lillard at any moment in the last two seasons, and it would have been the right move. Well, better late than never. johnhollinger looks at four possible trades, involving the Heat, Knicks, Sixers and Clippers:

to the deal, which would put enough salary into the trade that the Sixers could take back Lillard. The Blazers would end up with five players from the two teams, but only Powell is signed beyond this year. Rebuild, here we come. Negotiating draft equity would be the next part; again, neither team can really blow the Blazers away here. The Clippers would be counting on firsts in 2028 and 2030 being enough for their part of the deal. The Sixers, in particular, are fairly void of draft capital, with only a 2030 first-rounder on the table that, and thus would be counting on the lure of Maxey.
