Holly Willoughby has quit This Morning Holly Willoughby has quit ITV’s This Morning with a heartfelt statement – this comes just five months after, her former co-host Phillip Schofield also departed the programme. The 42-year-old presenter’s departure comes just days after a man named Gavin Plumb, 36, was arrested and charged with soliciting to commit murder and incitement to commit kidnap of her. She has now made the decision to also depart the daytime programme for good.
’ Holly has made the decision for herself and her family Following her departure, Kevin Lygo, who is the managing director of media and entertainment at ITV said: ‘We are sad that Holly is leaving This Morning, but respect her decision which we know will have been extremely difficult for her to make. ‘Holly is one of the best-loved, respected and most accomplished broadcasters in the UK.
