Police cordoned off the road in the southside of Glasgow following reports of the leak at about 17:00.
A number of properties have been evacuated following a gas leak in the southside of Glasgow.
Police said they received a report of an interruption of the leak in Inverewe Avenue in Darnley next to the M77 at about 17:00.A Police Scotland spokesperson said homes were evacuated as a precaution. The BBC has contacted Scottish Gas Network for comment.
