A Nottingham hospital building that is "beyond repair" could soon be replaced by a new facility. A single-storey building at Nottingham City Hospital would be demolished and replaced with a brand new and large complex hosting the hospital's anaesthetic department, if Nottingham City Council approves the fresh plans.
The proposed works consist of a new two storey modular building replacing the existing single storey modular building. The ground floor of the new building will hold a seminar room, consultant office, trainee office and IT hub.The ground floor will also accommodate a shower room and WCs. The first floor will hold office spaces, private office rooms and anaesthetic admin office.
Bosses at the hospitals trust confirmed the improvements were part of the general ongoing hospital estates works, rather than to do with the Tomorrow's NUH programme.
