Miscarriage leave, tackling domestic abuse and refugee integration are among the policy papers which cannot be progressed
Dozens of Stormont reports in key policy areas are not being published or progressed because of the absence of an Executive.
SDLP Stormont leader Matthew O'Toole said it was "another sign of how broken our democracy has become". Northern Ireland secretary Chris Heaton-Harris is holding a fresh round of bilateral talks with Stormont party leaders this week in a bid to break the stalemate. In its FOI response, the department said that although some of its reports had yet to be published, some of the recommendations contained within them have been progressed.
