Mainly euros, as I never seem to have cash when I need it. I also have lots of cards as I’ve been trying out different ones that don’t charge fees for foreign purchases and currency.I’m pretty frugal most of the time, but don’t mind splashing out for something special. There are some things that are worth paying that little bit extra for, like a really lovely, comfortable mattress. A good night’s sleep is going to affect every area of your life! I think our mattress cost around £1,000.
After all, money is there to be spent and what is the point of having it if you don’t enjoy it!I have a private pension and an Isa which are both stocks and shares based, but I don’t really consider myself to be knowledgeable in this area, so I leave it to the experts. I’m pretty risk-averse when it comes to investing to be honest.I think financially, pensions are better as there are lots of tax breaks and additional contributions available.
