Just Three Mums Walking finished their epic walk in memory of their sons, and the 200 schoolchildren who lose their lives to suicide every year , on Sunday 8 October. ‘I thought the day we lost Hayden was the worst day of my life – but it’s the days you live for the rest of your life that are the worst.’ In January last year, Hayden McCarthy called his mum Kim and told her he was going to make a doctor’s appointment.
