When Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1953, millions watched on TV and it was followed across an Empire gripped by post-war austerity.Many of that generation – including those who came to make new lives in Britain – remain enthusiastic about the monarchy.
But does that apply to their children and grandchildren, growing up in a post-colonial age of mobile phones?
