"Our film, really for me, it was a love letter to Sinéad. It was made over many, many years, and made because of the impact she had made on me as a young girl growing up in Ireland.""The intention with this film is to disrupt the trope of telling iconoclastic women's stories through the tragic heroine lens," she said.
Exclusive recent interviews with O'Connor will carry the documentary, with further intimate first-hand interviews from musicians, contemporary artists and social commentators covering themes of Irish history, politics and global activism.
