Eddie Howe gives his take on comparisons between Alexander Isak and Thierry Henry NUFC
Eddie Howe believes Newcastle striker Alexander Isak possesses similar qualities to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The Sweden international was in blistering form during Newcastle’s 4-1 win at Everton on Thursday, including an outrageous piece of skill to set up Jacob Murphy for the Magpies’ fourth goal.from Real Sociedad last August in a £60 million deal and despite suffering a number of injury setbacks, the 23-year-old has shown his star quality in Howe’s ever-improving side.
“Yeah, I can see the comparisons there,” Howe told reporters after his side’s convincing win at Everton. “I think everyone is different. There’s no two players that are the same but I do think he has some of the characteristics that Thierry had.
